Artist's Comments

6 hours on Photoshop. Referenced from hardcopy photograph (so no, not a paintover nor color picked). Was trying to study the way light bounces off bright objects.

When painting like this, do you have opacity mapped to your stylus pressure? And if so, what are your flow % set at and is airbrush toggled on or off? Sorry for the barrage of question but I have been trying to paint in this style for months and I can't for the life of me figure out the main brush/layer settings to get this awsome, soft non-muddy effect in my paintings. Any brief instruction on your style of painting would be incredible! Thanks so much if you get the opportunity to respond to this.
